Every jack on the back panel, what it does, and which combinations are actually worth using.
Four sources — aftertouch, pitch, V-trig, velocity — into four destinations, walked through one connection at a time, including the ones that turn out to be useless. Then the mod source jack, which changes the rules: instead of one cable reaching one destination, your signal lands in the modulation mix, where the mod wheel controls its depth and it can feed both destinations at once. Two payoffs from that: V-trig turns the mod wheel into a filter control, and velocity into the oscillators gives every note a slightly different pitch — instant vintage drift.

Tip: Patch straight into filter or oscillator and you don’t need the modulation switches at all — it’s a direct connection. Only signals routed through mod source need the mix and the mod wheel.
