How to Use Noise for Modulation

Four patches, each using noise a different way — starting simple, ending somewhere unexpected.
Noise as an audio source for vintage character, then as a filter modulator for gritty bass, then on the oscillators where it becomes a vintage instability knob — dial it halfway and your pitch drifts like an old synth, push further and it falls apart. The last patch combines noise with a slow LFO for chords that sound like wind blowing through them.

Tip: Half on the mod wheel is the sweet spot for noise modulation. Past that it stops adding character and starts eating the patch.
