Arpeggios & Sequences · Session 04

Scales for Step Sequencing & Arpeggios

9 min · Reference · No commentary — play along

Twelve natural minor scales, laid out so you can sequence straight from them.

No talking in this one — it’s a reference you keep open while you program. Natural minor is where most of the epic-sounding synth sequences and arpeggios live, and having the notes in front of you means you’re picking from the scale instead of hunting for something that fits. Jump to whichever key you’re working in.

Tip: Pair this with the Sequenced Chords session — pick a scale here, then record three-note chords from it and re-voice them with the range switches.
