DAW Integration · Session 01
How to Integrate into a DAW
5 min · Setup walkthrough · Audio interface & USB MIDI
The full studio setup: audio in, MIDI both ways, and which clock source to run.
Routing the stereo outs to your interface and setting monitoring so you hear the synth without arming a track, then MIDI in both directions — the Poly D as a keyboard, and the piano roll driving the synth. The decision that matters: with the clock source on internal you bypass the onboard sequencer and use your DAW’s, which is more capable anyway. Set it to USB and the internal sequencer fires alongside your piano roll, playing over whatever you programmed.

Tip: Running multiple synths? Give each one its own MIDI port. Two devices sharing a port will both respond to the same notes.
