Blending two modulation sources to build waveforms that neither the LFO nor oscillator 4 can produce on its own. Driving the filter into self-oscillation so it becomes a sine oscillator you can play — no oscillators enabled at all. Building a kick drum out of nothing but the filter. Live ratcheting, arpeggiator patterns, the fake keyboard split, using the Poly D as an effects unit for guitar, and turning off multi-trigger to make the paraphonic voicing behave more like real polyphony.

Tip: Playing the self-oscillating filter as an instrument? Tune your A to 440 Hz first, exactly as you would the oscillators — otherwise the pitches won’t line up with anything else.
