Leads · Session 01
Fat Super Saw Leads
9 min · Mono · No patch cable needed
Three saws detuned against each other, then pushed until the lead screams.
After the basic filter movement, the session covers the high-pass version — which reverses the sweep entirely — and then the technique that defines this patch: driving oscillator 4 into audio rates so it modulates the filter fast enough to generate entirely new frequencies. That’s what makes a lead cut through a mix. Ends with interval detuning for extra width.

Tip: For the audio rate trick, oscillator 4 control has to be on — that’s what locks the new frequency in so it stays consistent as you play across the keyboard.
